Waring MBB Professional Bar Blender

This is the Waring mbb5 professional bar blender, not to be confused with the types of blenders you find in most kitchens. This one isn't just more expensive, it is also much more effective. I won't go so far as to say this blender is only for people who have a restaurant or smoothie business though.

I think there is an issue with standard kitchen blenders these days. People expect to get everything cheap and because so many people don't want to spend any money for their appliances lots of companies started making cheap blenders that don't really do what they are supposed to do. This is just my opinion, but the average kitchen blender can't even chop up ice properly.

Compare to a professional model like the Waring mbb5 professional bar blender and there is no comparison. This blender literally liquefies fruit and shreds ice into a fine powder. That should not be the exception to the rule when it comes to blenders, but it is. Finding a blender that actually blends is not easy. This one does the trick and I am very happy I made the purchase.

As for durability, for the price I certainly hope it lasts. I have only had it less than a week so I can't speak to that but my initial impression is it seems like it is a high quality build. As long as it keeps working the way it has been working for at least a few years I would say anyone who really needs a blender should consider a professional model. I can personally recommend the Waring mbb5 professional bar blender, as I've used it and can attest it will work as expected.
