Waring Margarita Madness blender

Okay, so the first thing you need to know about the Waring Margarita Madness blender is that it’s expensive. Like... REAL expensive. I think there are more expensive blenders out there, but if you were looking for something under $100 then this probably shouldn’t be on your list. That is, unless your budget is flexible and you are willing to spend some extra cash for PURE AWESOMENESS!

Seriously, this is a professional grade blender. That means most blenders you see like ones from KitchenAid or Oster may be 3-5x cheaper, but they really are not in the same class at all. It’s like comparing a mid-size pickup truck to a Peterbilt or Mack truck. One is cute, and useful for stuff around the house. The other is a powerful machine that can do a whole lot more. The Waring Margarita Madness blender is the monster truck of home blenders.

At their heart, blenders are not very complex. That’s why, even though Waring obviously put a lot of effort into making this machine all-around excellent, I would single out just TWO features that make this worth buying: the motor and the blade. The motor is 1.5 horsepower, which may not be quite enough to power a go-kart but it is a heckuva lot for a counter-top blender. The other thing that impresses me about the Waring Margarita Madness blender is the one-piece stainless steel blade. It’s strong, sharp, and durable.

In short, when you have a powerful motor turning a strong, sharp blade... you have the core requirements needed for an excellent blender. Believe it or not, a lot of blenders even in this price range don’t measure up to the standards Waring has set with this model.

If you like frozen drinks, this is a must-have, but I suspect this blender will outperform others for just about any use you can think of. Taking that into consideration, I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who plans to use their blender more than just “once in a while”. If you are going to use a blender even once a week, you need something like this.

I became fed up with broken blenders after my third one died earlier this year. If someone asked me last year if I would spend this kind of money on a blender I would have said no, but I did and I am very glad I did it!
