Master Prep QB900
by: Anonymous

I got this as a Christmas gift & was so excited to use it. After using it for the 3rd time, the top part to the blade piece broke off on me. I was very disappointed. So I called their customer service & they will be replacing it for free. I'm pretty sure this piece will probably break off again since its made out of plasic. I asked the customer representative regarding this issue & she assured me that it won't happen again... I'm not convinced. I told her that I will be calling back if it does.

Kitchen Aid looks good again.
by: Mal

I bought one before christmas, through TV ads, first problem was, even though it was said to come from Canada,it wasn't, it came from USA. So had to pay $40.00 extra import fee.

Second. The second time I came to use it, power light was on but nothing else worked.Got in touch with support who went through all the works that could go wrong and be repaired on line. no avail. so they said that it should be reurned to be repaired.he said that either through email or post we would get a return prepayed address to send it back. But I have to pay the return shipping.after waiting three weeks nothing happened,so I phoned again.this time they told me I was going to receive a new unit, and it would be sent out next week.after waiting 2 weeks I finally get a email on Friday night from UPS with the return address, saying they would be picking it up on Monday.only thing is I live in northern Canada 120 kilometers north of Timmins. The things i have to do to return this blender is impossible untill next week. and now there is no one at Euro Pro until Monday.

As you read through all the complaints on this site I have to agree with most of you.the support of this product sucks. I ordered this unit in Oct. Received it in Nov. it has been broken since end of Nov, been waiting for some thing to happen since then.So far $200.00 for nothing.NOT BAD EURO PRO.

Junk!

Four months of blending only fruits and vegetables and now spindle assembly at the base of the pitcher decides to stop working; the blade is totally useless! I've made up my mind: tomorrow, I'm buying a Vitamix blender!

Stripped Gear
by: Anonymous

I love my Ninja but am very sad that the white gear at the bottom of the motor is stripped and will no longer work. Motor work great, just need to replace small what gear. Can anyone help with this part?

Fixing stripped female gear
by: Paul

Being I like to play I took off the stripped gear v (it wriggled off) and then took pulled the shaft from the blender pitcher. I found you could unscrew the shaft from the round base going the opposite direction (righty loosey. I then drilled a hole in the top of the flat part of the shaft and chiseled a notch on the bottom of the stripped gear. By inserting a small pin in the hole it fit into the notch in the gear and then I put some epoxy to secure it. This prevents the gear from slipping. I put it all back together and it works great now. If they actually did this as part of production you would not have stripping problems.

Ninja small pitcher gear stripped
by: Paul

We just bought it and the small pitcher would not blend. I found the gear stripped/loose from the shaft and called Customer Service who are sending me a new pitcher free of charge. They should make the head out of aluminum instead of plastic, as I fear this will be a recurring problem.

Fix it Ninja
by: Craig

I'm guessing the Ninja folks aren't reading these posts. If they were, they would figure out that the offending part should be made available. Guess they want to hit the big time by making us buy the whole power head to increase profits. I have passed on the word to my circle of friends that poorly designed parts will cause them problems. Maybe someone will come up better design. Hope so because the Ninja is a great blender if they would just make the parts available to fix it.

This IS junk
by: Anonymous

My Ninja Master Prep pro (qb1005q) that I used for the FIRST TIME died with the first pulse. It ran for a second or two, but that was it. I'm seeing a lot of issues with the gears stripping, but I'm not hearing a sound out of the motor head like it's trying to do anything. Believe me, I studdied various options, but breakers and plugs are still good. The correct placement of the pitcher, plade, motor etc... There's no "safety" to hit before you operate the blender, nor is there a fuse for the machine. I have my doubts.

BTW...I hit that link on a couple of the posts here re: parts (That's good), but the site doesn't even recognize my model# ??? I got the thing off of QVC with good experiences to this point, but WOW.

I'm not near as impressed as my step-mom is with hers.

Same problem
by: Caryn

I too loved my Ninja until the female gear housing stripped and I discovered that I can not buy the part, but would have to buy an entire power head (which is working fine). Waste! I will try the washer trick suggested, but hope the manufacturer will get the message and fix this endemic problem.

Disappointed
by: Anonymous

I glad I found this review site. I purchased my Ninja about six months earlier and used it multiple times a day until it stopped working a couple months ago. I was so disappointed! It's still sitting on my counter. No matter how well a product works if it stops working after four months I can't endorse it.

Small Parts not Available
by: Eric

Our Ninja is 6 months old, drive in the motor head is stripped, cannot get replacement. Will not pay 40.00 dollars to fix a 2.00 dollar problem. Will not be buying again.

48 oz bowl for Master prep
by: Homer

I've had my Ninja Master Prep for about a year and love it. All the problems I've read here haven't happened to me. However I'm now concerned about the 48 oz bowl. The metal holding nob on the bottom to hold the blades straight has started to get big cracks around it and getting loose. We use it only a couple of times a week. Other wise it does a fantastic job of blending.

Update
by: Craig

The fix I did to the blade assembly lasted about a week. OK Ninja folks, it's time to step up to the plate and make the offending part available so that we can once again sing the praises of your product.

doesnt make proper paste
by: Anonymous

I was very excited when i bought it 2 months ago but i am disappointed that this is not good for blending the spices or for making ginger garlic paste. It was highly rated on amazon but i guess its good but not for me as much .. :((

Small parts not available.
by: Allyn Parr

Part in motor head is stripped and I can't get a replacement part which would probably cost a couple of dollars. Love the Ninja but won't be buying a new motor head for about $40.00. Can't spread the good word about the Ninja anymore!!

Great Customer Service
by: K. Watt

I too had a problem with the Ninja gear stripping out after a few weeks of daily use. I felt lost without it the first day I was not able to use it.
I went back to using my old blender but it just didn't measure up to the chopping quality of the Ninja.

I was dismayed as I really didn't want to have to spend the time and money to ship it back to them. Much to my surprise within days of my writing the comment. I was contacted by Ninja that they would replace the power head part and it would be shipped out shortly.

Now tell me when was the last time something like that ever happened to you? No hassle just prompt excellent customer service. I can tell you right now I will not hesitate to buy a Ninja product, it's worth it!

Sincerely,

K. Watt

Stripped out motor gasket
by: Craig

I also found out that the parts to fix the motor are not available by themselves, you have to buy the whole motor assembly. Not good customer PR.

I was able to glue a small washer on the bottom of the blade assembly which pushed the blade assembly higher into the motor head. This fixed the problem. In the future I will make really sure that the blade assembly is all the way into the motor head. I hope this helps someone with the same problem.

Great experience
by: SVercher

I love my Ninja blender.....Called about the broken gear in the blender and they are sending me a replacement pitcher assembly free of charge in 7-10 days!

quickly stripped out motor gasket
by: Anonymous

little white gasket on bottom of motor head stripped out quickly... I called company and was told I would have to purchase a new motor head and also the blades would not fit anymore and I would have to replace those too.... despite <1 year of occasional use... not impressed at all!

I like it
by: Anonymous

I too blew up the motor but it was my own fault for not using the correct blade.. I like my Ninja pretty good bought a replacement motor...

It was amazing to find they care for consumers after sales as much as before sales
by: Mrs D.L.Mask

It's all I read on the blogs, that the little plastic in motor head of Ninjas system striped out right off the bat!

I called & was told I had to buy new motor head, to find my serial number & call back. So I did AND-HOLD-ON They're sending a new head, and because my 4 month old blades won't work with new head they are sending whole new system!

I am very grateful to Master Prep/EURO-PRO Co. IT WAS AMAZING To find NINJI Professionals care for consumers after sales as much as before sales. My new system will take 2-3 weeks with no shipping cost.

Call the number
by: Anonymous

Call the number at the bottom of ninja page..they probably wont have the part but if your ninja is less than 1 year old and you purchased it at a Sam's or Costco...the store will take it back or ninja will replace it at no charge. yay!

Ninja Parts and comments
by: tina

When my Ninja was working it was great! Now It is not working! I was very disappointed that the motor top and the piece that turns the blades wore out very quickly! I received this as an Xmas gift! I was so excited about it.. I cant understand why the pieces wore out as quick as they did.

Can I get new parts for them an if so how expensive is the cost of the replacement parts?

Can you also explain why the parts wore out as quick as they did?

Thank You ....

Tina from LI.

by: Kilo

I was so excited when I ordered my Ninja Blender, The I used it for the first time to make cookie dough and the motor base burned out! It cost just as much 2 replace the motor base as it do to buy a whole new blender! Not happy at all. Back to Hamilton Beach I go...

Where can you buy parts?

Inferior Quality
by: Anonymous

You might have a 2 year warranty on the motor assembly, but for the parts that break there's no warranty, such as the blade assembly. Without it the 2 years on the motor is useless.. NO BLADES ??

The stem on the blade unit is made very flimsy & twists off if you try to chop frozen items. I even tried putting 1 or 2 pieces in like say carrots frozen or cauliflower to make in a recipe??

Give me back my old blender I could drop it kick it, & actually do a better job without calling for replacement blades every time I use it. Or only put an inch or 2 of food in blender & breaking blades. Made In China Hmmmmmm ?

Ninja
by: Mary Larson

We own a small Coffee shop / Cafe we make smoothies and Grade cheese and many many other things with it..... We have absolutely loved it and any other blender wouldn't do what we have done with this Blender.... the reason the gears burn up is only when you get impatient with it... you have to have the lid and the motor lined up perfectly in order for it to work... yes we have had to replace a few but it is sooooo worth it... we have the new professional blender now and ABSOLUTLY LOVE it!!!!!

Love my Ninja
by: THEJKH

I got the Ninja for my birthday in August. I se all 3 sized containers. The small one gets used for anything I want to mix up to make a dry rub with, herbs, leaves, spices, sometime I will use it to shred cheese, the trick is for the cheeze to be very cold but not quite frozen. The medium sized one I mostly use to cut chunks of meat into ground meat, works great and I can add the rub to get it all through out and really like making custom blends of different meats. The "pitcher" gets used for smoothies. I use the small one about 2-3 a week, medium one gets used once a week atleast and the pitcher gets used 2-4 times a day MINIMUM!

The only problem I had was I tried to ground a frozen chunk of meat and it was more then the blade shaft could handle. It twisted the male end of the shaft and I had to get a replacement. From now on I allways do a quick short test before I hold it down, if it doesnt budge I wont force it. I have had no problems and I use them pretty hard!

Short Lived Product - Big Disappointment
by: Deborah

I am disappointed in the life span of this product. I purchased it 6-7 months ago from a Target store.

Although I did not used it extensively, the top of the pitcher blade is stripped. The cost to replace the blades (with S&H) is almost as much as I would have to pay to get another model brand new - which by the way, I will not get a Ninja again.

I will instead invest my money in something that will last, be replaced by the seller if defective or have a decent warranty that backed up the product.

love my ninja
by: Anonymous

I've been reading your comments posted and would like to know all of you with problems so early call up its under warranty. I love mine and make over 10 fruit smoothies with lots of ice and no problems i think if you are being truthful and brought it from a lic. rep you should have no problem getting it replaced for free good luck love my ninja

ninja master prep is junk
by: todd larsen

Like everyone else the ninja master prep was great for exactly two weeks then the gear was stripped and was entirely worthless and had to thrown out.

Interchangeable

We purchased a Ninja blender and really love using it. Can we purchase the smaller pitcher from the Ninja pro 1100. Will it work on a Ninja 600

Limited Parts
by: Ed

The female gear on my motor head stripped out. Ninja does not sell a replacement part for this. I am not happy. Although I loved using the Ninja for the past 10 months (20 uses total), my Ninja is now worthless. Will I buy another one? NO!

Save your money and buy something that will last and has replacement parts. I do not recommend this to anyone.

Not Happy
by: Denise Boswell

I've had the ninja blender for a very short time. I have been making smoothies with frozen raspberries and blueberries, but the first time I used frozen Strawberries, both the blades and the motor stripped out. I can no longer use my blender for anything other than a paper weight. Not it's intended use. I guess I will be going back to my black and decker.

I have been using the blender daily but have found the white rubber "washer" missing so the blade's plastic top connection has stripped out.
The Euro page cannot be brought up so where can I get these items replaced? I like the product but need these little things taken care of. My Ninja was purchased by TV/phone ad not more than a few months ago.

Where to order parts/accessories
by: Anonymous

If you go to the Euro-Pro website and click on "register" it will take you to the site to register your ninja but on the top it has parts/products. They don't sell extra blades though. Only heads, pitchers, etc.

EuroPro
by: Brian

I haven't seen parts for the Ninja anywhere online. But if you have your model number I'm pretty sure that you can order spare parts at EuroPro.
