Braun MR4000 Hand Blender

I *LOVE* this blender! The Braun MR4000 hand blender is the first handheld one I've owned that really works well. My husband and I use it to make frozen drinks all the time and it's fantastic. I love having it right on the bar, it makes me feel like a real bartender for some reason (even though I've never seen a hand blender in a bar).

The blender has two speeds depending on whether you are doing something like crushing ice or mashing potatoes. My husband actually uses this more than I do, I mainly like it for the margaritas but he uses it for everything. He makes a really great pesto using this. He puts in his ingredients and a few seconds later WHAMMO! he's got this amazing pesto for our dinner.

The drinks really are the best though, and you can make really great drinks for the kids with this too. I started experimenting with smoothies and the Braun MR4000 hand blender does a really good job of making them. The kids love them and they're supposed to be healthy too. I tried making them with the regular blender we have in the kitchen but they come out lumpy and chunky. The Braun doesn't do that at all, they come out smooth like they're supposed to.

I honestly could not picture NOT having this around the house. It would be like going back to regular television (no cable, no satellite). This is just so much fun and so useful, I have to give it two thumbs up for sure!
