From my experience, people searching for the best blenders for money are usually looking for one of two things…
They either want to invest in a high-performance blender that will last a lifetime and provide the best possible results, or…
Or they are in need of a quick replacement because their current blender just stopped working. They don’t have the time to search but need to replace it quick and would like the best possible blender for the money… Preferably at the lowest possible price!
Generally, when purchasing one of the performance blenders below you will be spending extra cash for extra Horse Power.
- The heavy-duty blenders below are manufactured to commercial grade standard. At top speeds they deliver well over 1 HP (horse power), making them incredibly more diverse than blenders you’d pick up at a local store.
- Without getting too technical, when we chew and swallow our fruits and veggies we leave around 50% of the goodness still in the cell walls of the food. It simply passes right through our system. In fact we actually expand excessive amounts of energy just trying to digest it.
- High powered blenders are strong enough to pulverize foods and break down a far larger percentage of these cells, making them possibly one of the best methods available of extracting the most benefit from whole foods.
I would go as far as to say, that a high performance blender is more valuable to its owner than any other health care you could offer!
In my opinion the Blendtec Blender is the best blenders for money on the market today, Blendtec have really have excelled themselves with their ‘Total Blender’.
Whether you’re trying to eliminate preservatives and eat healthier or just want to be able to make the most sinfully delicious and calorie-rich drinks and desserts there are plenty of reasons to take a long hard look at the Blendtec.
This is a professional quality blender and will quickly become your “go to” tool in the kitchen for anything that needs to be blended, mixed, chopped, or pureed.
Power is important and this blender definitely delivers. It features a 13 amp motor with 1560 watts of power, a four-inch blade, and a three-quart capacity jar that is BPA-free.
These are just some of the things you can make with your Blendtec blender: margaritas, milk shakes, bread dough, salad dressing, fondues, deserts, smoothies, ice cream, salsa, cappuccinos, sauces, and so much more.
But, the thing that is most exciting to many consumers is the fact that you can even cook soup! Friction heat created by the blades moving at breakneck speeds makes this possible… Read Full review
I rate the Vita Mix 5200 blender as one of the best blenders for money, it will handle just about any blending task you ask!
The most important feature for the average consumer is that these machines bring commercial food processing and blending quality to the average home consumer.
This is huge news! People are constantly complaining that their blenders aren’t able to perform various functions that you’ll find on favorite cooking television shows to the same degree at home – even when buying top of the line blenders. That’s not a problem anymore.
Functionality is another prime reason this is one of the best blenders and such a huge hit with consumers and critics alike.
You can do a wide range of things with this baby. You can use it to blend and heat soup in minutes, crush ice (without bogging down or burning out), make juice, blend smoothies, create milkshakes, grind food, mix, mince, and chop… Read Full Review
3) Ninja Mega Kitchen System 1500
The latest offering from Ninja is the Mega Kitchen System 1500, it’s not quite in the same league as the two above, but it is excellent value for money!
This is the only combination blender and food processor in the high performance category. Its inclusion comes mainly due to a recent upgrade, giving it a more powerful 2 peak horsepower motor, alongside its unique 6 blade system.
The Ninja is now probably the best blender/food processor that I’ve come across!
Most average blenders have a single blade at the base of the jar. This will blend foods in the bottom, but unless there is a vortex it does nothing to pull the thicker contents from the top of the jar down towards the bottom so that it can be thoroughly blended.
In contrast all Ninja blenders incorporate a cylindrical tube that goes from the base of the jug all the way up to the top near the lid. Along the length of the tube is the unique six blade assembly.
This solves the problem of air pockets, allowing the blade to spin freely. These blades are razor-sharp, so be careful when handling them!
With multiple attachments this blender definitely has a lot to offer with the capability to knead dough for pizzas, loaves of bread, biscuits and pretzels… Read Full Review
4) Margaritaville – Best Blender For Frozen Drinks
The Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker is undoubtedly one of the best blenders for frozen drinks! It’s not the best all around blender and again, it’s not in the same class as the 1 and 2 above, but I had to put it on my list. I just love it!
A little taste of the islands is always in order and the Margaritaville blenders deliver that little hint of flavor wherever you want.
One of the best features about this particular product is that it automatically selects the perfect balance of ice and ingredients for you. You don’t have to worry about too much or too little ice in the mixture.
In addition to the automatic proportioning feature this frozen concoction maker can blend up to 32-ounces at a time. The controls are all easy to access and located on the front and it’s designed to clean up easily.
For anyone who enjoys entertaining and includes mixed drinks in the merrymaking process, there are no better blenders on the market for making consistently perfect margaritas.

I’m a realist and I know that making a large investment in a Vitamix or a Blendtec is not right for everyone… Some of you will be prioritizing your money elsewhere and you just want a basic home blender.
Having said that you still want one of the best blenders for the money, right? Something that will do a proper job when blending, after all that is its job isn’t it!
With that thought in mind I looked at a plethora of mid range blenders. Some I reviewed personally and some I carried out extensive research, gathering the information from many sources. The outcome was a true understanding of the best blenders on the market today.
From my research I have ranked the top three and if I was in the market for a new blender under $150 I would definitely go for one of these.
1) KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender
I’ve rated the KitchenAid 5 Speed Blender as number one in my list of best blenders for the money. Priced at around $100 I see this blender as the best value for money and it’s highly recommended by a host of consumers.
This blender offers a much better price point for the average consumer and is perfectly adequate for the amount of blending that most families do. It also comes in a wide range of colors in order to complement various kitchen decor and owner preferences.
The color options currently available include: tangerine, white, chrome, blue willow, empire red, gloss cinnamon, and onyx black.
It’s the perfect “starting” blender for most people. It performs well when making smoothies, milk shakes, and other frozen concoctions.
The blender itself offers five different speeds for blending, a .9 HP motor, a die-cast metal base and a “crush ice” feature as well as on-board storage to keep your counter-tops free and clear of cord clutter.
The jar on the model is dishwasher safe and has a capacity of 56-ounces.
Most people who have purchased the KitchenAid 5-speed blender are providing rave reviews. One thing people love is that this blender is made of metal parts, making it very durable so you will not need to be replacing it too soon… Read Full Review
2) Classic Oster Beehive Blenders
Second on the list of best blenders under $150 is the Oster Beehive Blender Blender. This is definitely an attractive contemporary and timeless blender. It’s one that will attract your attention when you walk into the kitchen.
With its smooth retro design the Oster beehive looks good, but it also gets the job done fairly quickly and efficiently.
It’s a robust and powerful blender, developed to manage even the toughest blending jobs, yet is still effective at mixing excellent beverages, soups, salsa as well as any other blending requirement you have.
Another advantage of the beehive blender would be the ice crusher blade which provides flawlessly crushed ice each and every time.

3) Waring Pro Blenders
Coming third on my list of best value for money blenders under $150 is the Waring Pro Blender, at around $100 this is an excellent addition to any kitchen.
Whether you’ve got the ultra modern look going on in your kitchen or you’re looking for something more along the lines of “retro chic” this bar blender is a good choice for you.
They come in a wide range of designer colors that include: brushed stainless, black and stainless, chili red, ebony, quite white, and retro green.
The 40-ounce glass jar holds up to five cups of drinks, soups, and sauces while the powerful 390-watt motor is ideally suited for crushing ice. The size of the motor does make for a somewhat noisy blender but the power and price point of this particular model make the sound a small sacrifice.
Another great thing about this particular model is that you don’t have to turn to lock the jar into place with plastic pieces and parts. You simply drop the jar into place and it’s ready to begin… Read Full Review
4) Oster Counterforms Blender
Fourth amongst the best blenders under $150 is another model by the popular Oster brand. The Oster Counterforms Blender rotates forwards and backwards, it takes care of frozen fruit effortlessly and ice cubes are never a problem.
The starting price for this blender food processor combo is attractive, especially when you consider the additional functionality of this device as a chopper and a food processor. It does a lot more than similarly priced blenders are able to do.
The Oster Counterforms Blender may be used as a food processor, a chopper and a blender. It comes with a 6-cup glass jar and offers an all-metal drive system for an added layer of strength to accompany its 600 watts of power.
